ANA382 - Not for Sale
18 to 20.25 inches adjustable

We've never seen unpolished antique spiny oyster shell (spondylus) beads
this large, symbols of fertility and power. An old Tibetan bead made of sacred
chank shell and wrapped in silver repousee, chank shells being one of the
eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism. Originally fished out of the sea, they
were used as items of trade until making their way to the mountains of Tibet,
where they became prized symbols of faith. Antique ostrich egg shell heishi,
two ceramic beads, and a sterling silver hook and eye clasp.
