A magnificent collection of antique undyed coral beads and two amber beads set
between four matched antique Tiznit silver beads from the early 1930s. Tiznit is
a town founded in the southern Moroccan region of Souss-Massa-Dra, and its
artisans are known for their jewelry, daggers, and sabers. The hexagonal silver
beads between the rows of coins are worn by the Tuareg and Saharwi peoples
for protection. The coins which finish this piece are all pre-1930.
